XXL 2012 Freshman Cover

Considering the only artists of this bunch I actively listen to are Macklemore (my favorite of the 10, great to see him get some credit!) and Kid Ink (songs always bump!), I'm probably not the best source for critique of XXL's Freshman. Nonetheless, maybe that same fact is why I am a good source. Does ANYONE listen to half of these people????
MGK: He has gained a lot of popularity recently so I understand his position on the list and he definitely deserves it (though I still hate his music).
Roscoe Dash: Don't know if he is really a freshman, but regardless, he is garbage! I guess "All the Way Turnt Up" and a feature on "No Hands" is enough these days.
French Montana: Listen to his most recent verse on Rick Ross's "Stay Schemin" and then try to convince me that he has earned this.
Hopsin: Not really my preferred style of rap...but he has had some success recently.
Danny Brown: Who?
Don Trip: Who?
Future: I guess autotune still does the trick?
Iggy: Seriously, XXL? This white girl with wannabe swag won't be around for 2013.
